DVI AW 40–200

The DVI AW 40–200 is a modular air-to-water heat pump for businesses with the natural refrigerant propane (R290). The system is built from 40 kW modules up to 200 kW and is delivered as one complete unit.

The modules run in cascade and start independently of each other, so output follows the heating demand. Each module has a Copeland scroll compressor and 3.2 kg of R290. The flow goes up to 70 °C, and the heat pump works down to an outdoor temperature of -20 °C.

DVI states a sound power level from 72.7 dB(A) for one module to 79.6 dB(A) for five modules. At a distance of 10 metres the sound pressure is 40.6 to 47.5 dB(A), so the system can be placed flexibly, including in noise-sensitive settings.

SCOP is 4.25 with underfloor heating and 3.62 with radiators, and the energy class is A++. One module measures 1,725 × 1,075 × 2,220 mm and weighs 478 kg.
