Weishaupt Aeroblock WAB

The Weishaupt Aeroblock WAB is a monobloc air-to-water heat pump with the natural refrigerant R290 for heating and optional cooling. It is sold as a package with a wall-mounted controller or with the WKS combination cylinder.

The refrigerant circuit is hermetically sealed and allows operation down to −22 °C and flow temperatures of up to 70 °C. All electrical components sit in a gas-tight housing. SCOP is 4.78 for the WAB 8 and 4.70 for the WAB 11 in low-temperature operation in an average climate.

Output is stated at A2/W35: 4.0 kW with a COP of 4.0 for the WAB 8 and 5.2 kW with a COP of 3.9 for the WAB 11. Sound power is 48–49 dB(A), corresponding to 35 dB(A) sound pressure at a distance of 2 m. The outdoor unit has aluminium louvres at the front and back and a BlueFin evaporator.

The package with wall-mounted controller is managed by the supplied heat-pump controller, is SmartGrid Ready and can be operated via an app. The package with WKS consists of the heat pump and the WKS 300/100 combination cylinder with a built-in heat-pump controller for domestic hot water.

Connection to the electrical supply and heating system is carried out by an authorised electrician and plumber. We will find a certified installer in your region.
