Viessmann Vitocal 150-A

Vitocal 150-A is a modulating monobloc air-to-water heat pump with R290 for space heating, active cooling and domestic hot water. It covers both new builds and renovations with a flow temperature of up to 70 °C.

The series runs from A04 to A16 with a nominal heat output from 4.0 to 9.1 kW at A7/W35 and a modulation range of 2.1 to 14.9 kW. The best COP is 5.2 at A7/W35 (A10, 400 V). The outdoor unit operates down to an outdoor temperature of −20 °C, and a 70 °C flow temperature can be maintained down to −10 °C.

The indoor unit is available in several versions: the standard version is a wall-mounted indoor unit with a built-in 16 l buffer tank and a 12 l expansion vessel, Modular is a wall-mounted indoor unit designed for an external buffer tank, Compact is a floor-standing indoor unit with a built-in 190 l hot water cylinder, and Hybrid is combined with an additional heat source such as a gas boiler.

Control is via Viessmann One Base with a 7" colour touchscreen or the ViCare app. Hydro AutoControl manages the volume flow, and solar power can be included in the energy management. The Antifreeze version has ring heating on the fan.
