Viessmann Vitocal 250-A

Vitocal 250-A is a modulating monobloc air-to-water heat pump with R290 for space heating, active cooling and domestic hot water. It is supplied with one or two built-in heating/cooling circuits and a flow temperature of up to 70 °C.

The series runs from A04 to A19 with a nominal heat output from 4.0 to 9.0 kW at A7/W35 and a modulation range of 2.1 to 18.5 kW. The best COP is 5.5 at A7/W35 (A10, 400 V), and the outdoor sound power starts from 46 dB(A). The outdoor unit operates down to −20 °C, and a 70 °C flow temperature can be maintained down to −10 °C.

The standard version (V105) has a wall-mounted indoor unit with a 16 l buffer tank, a 12 l expansion vessel and an 8 kW electric heater. The 2C version (V115) has an additional built-in heating/cooling circuit and an 18 l expansion vessel. There are also Modular (wall-mounted indoor unit without a built-in expansion vessel), Compact (floor-standing indoor unit with a 190 l hot water cylinder) and Hybrid for combination with an external heat source of up to 36 kW.

The evaporator has a Blue Fin coating, and the outdoor unit has ring heating on the fan and a heated condensate tray. Control is via Viessmann One Base with a 7" touchscreen or the ViCare app, and the LAN module is included.
